Commerce and Entrepreneurship Academy

 

Edgewood's Commerce and Entrepreneurship Academy (ECEA) will provide lectures from local business guests, field trips to local companies and more.  Students will learn how to develop and run a real enterprise in a fun, projects-based approach.   Through this experience, students will generate business ideas, conduct market research, write business plans, pitch to a panel of investors, and launch their very own companies. 

 

Additionally, we will offer financial literacy tips to students as well as parents.  We will focus on setting goals, budgeting, saving, spending, borrowing, using credit — these are just a few types of knowledge, skills and behaviors people need to manage their resources effectively.
